This year   I am so excited to be back working with the fantastic staff and students at GH Dawe and Normandeau again this year! I work primarily with the middle school students providing individual counselling, small group counselling, and classroom lessons. I absolutely love my job and believe it is a privilege to help young people develop the skills and confidence to grow into healthy, happy people!

Background   I started my career as a nurse and spent most of my nursing career working in pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, and health promotion. After returning to school, I became a teacher and worked at Hunting Hills HIgh School teaching Medical Studies, Sports Medicine, Advanced Placement Psychology, and Leadership. In 2004 I moved into a counselling role at Hunting Hills High School and completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology through the University of Lethbridge. I worked at Hunting Hills as a school counsellor until 2016, when I moved to GH Dawe and Normandeau to work half time in each school.

Family   My husband Dom and I have four wonderful daughters who keep our lives busy and our hearts full!

Interests   I love to travel, learn, read, play games and spend time with family and friends.
